I’ve finally finished Leftovers III which gives me my first FAL for the 4th quarter (FAL wish list). It has lots of feathers and detailed quilting in the white background. Unfortunately it was a dull day when I took these pictures so you can’t see the detail and loft created by the quilting.
It is my own design and it was made with leftover strips of fabric (#scraptastictuesday) from my Blue Odyssey quilt. Click here to see more pictures of Leftovers III and to read about the making of this quilt.
I have finished the FMQ on the girl’s version of High Tea and I’m pretty happy with it. Once I finish sewing on the binding I will post more pictures.
Leftovers IV is now on the frame. I haven’t figured out what I am going to FMQ on it but I am leaning towards either using just white thread in the background or going a little crazy and using multiple colours.

But seriously – the quilting on this one is fabulous. I love your motifs in the squares, and I hope to become more comfortable with my feathers. Yours look so nice!
