Our guild is collecting baby quilts for Our Lady of Grace. The quilts will go to pregnant or parenting teens. I had some left over fabric from Leah’s Quilt so I decided to make a baby girl quilt. I love the colours…they look so girly and feminine. I went a little overboard with the quilting, what else is new, but hopefully whoever gets it will like it. This quilt is also my second FAL finish for the 4th quarter and my November ALYoF goal.
When it was finished I decided that I needed to make one for a baby boy too. I raided my stash and came up with this version:
They look so cute together:

Great job of quilting. Love the designs you came up with.
I love your quilting! So often charity quilts are made from ugly fabric and poor quilting. These will truly make the recipient feel special.
Ooh, they look so lovely and the quilting is amazing – a joy to see.
The quilting is amazing on both! You definitely went above and beyond for these charity quilts, I hope they go to someone you really loves and appreciates them 🙂
Great quilts and beautiful quilting!
Both quilts are fabulous. I’m sure they will be appreciated and well loved.
Wow. Those are really really beautiful and the quilting is amazing! Wow. Love the pattern, too. Never seen that one before…
I especially love the colours you used in the second one and such beautiful quilting!
Your quilting is exquisite!!! I am sure the recipients will feel loved. http://sewpreetiquilts.blogspot.com/
Two absolutely beautiful baby quilts. Your quilting is gorgeous!
Gorgeous quilting for beautiful quilts. What awesome gifts those will make!
Very nicely done.
Both quilts are beautiful, and your quilting is absolutely stunning.
I hope that gorgeous and detailed quilting makes the recipient feel really special!
In awe of your quilting on these precious baby quilts. Who wouldn’t want to be wrapped in some handmade love? Beautifully made.
Wonderful quilts! And oh my goodness the quilting is fabulous! Congratulations on your finishes.
WOWZERS!! both are awesome and will most definitely be adored and cherished by whomever receives them. The baby boy quilt is my favorite of the two.
Just beautiful! The quilting is incredible!
Wow, what generosity to quilt so thoughtfully and generously on quilts you are donating. You inspire quilters to be evermore thoughtful when we gift to others in need. I landed upon your blog via crazymomquilts.blog. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! I love the fabrics! Neat pattern, too.
Such beautiful quilts, and so heartening to see them going to such a good cause! I am sure the young mums will treasure them.
Thank you for linking up with Free Motion Mavericks!
Love your quilts and the quilting!!! It’s always fun for me to find another quilter who love to quilt a quilt to death!!! New follower because I always like a quilter who really quilts like me!! Congratulations on achieving your November goal!
Welcome. Thanks for following
That is one lucky little girl. Your quilting is breathtaking! I wish I could quilt like that. Congrats on your November finish and thank you for passing along love.
Thanks for your very kind words
What wonderful quilts! It’s really nice to see someone “go overboard” on quilting on a donation quilt. So often it goes the other way. These are real treasures. Who could not feel loved with either one of them as a gift for their baby?
Gorgeous quilting! And I really like the pattern with the large HSTs.
