WIP Wednesday and FAL Finish #3

I’ve had a fairy productive week.  I had to take my Asian Peacock wall hanging off of the frame so that I could finish the last charity quilt for Little Warriors.  It was a cute jungle themed quilt so I used an edge-to-edge paw pattern on it.  I think it would be great for a boy or a girl.

Once I finished this charity quilt I had to decide whether to put the wall hanging back on or to jump ahead and load my one block wonder.  The OBW won so I’ve been working on that for a few days.  Since the pattern is so busy I opted for an all over chrysanthemum design with some custom work around the appliquéd geishas.  It should be finished in the next day or so and then it goes into the big pile waiting for the binding to be completed.

  1. here’s hoping for a better look at the OBW in a subsequent post!

  2. I should make a list. I am slightly afraid to make a list, but I should. I love the edge-to-edge pattern on that quilt. I’m still coming to terms with my long arm’s computer (not half as nifty as yours).

very nice!!!! I have no idea how you
find the time to do all this!!! I can barely get anything I want done around here and I only work part time…lol….must be your “youth” lol…….love the quilt by the way!!!

Lovely charity quilt. It is wonderful to do such a nice job on the long arm quilting for a charity quilt! I really like the colours of the quilt on the long arm. Beautiful!

Great quilts and I have to laugh at the idea of the big pile of quilts waiting on binding! Thanks for sharing.

  6. One project nicer than the next! The panto you used on the charity quilt is so cute, and a nifty idea to put that nice fabric into attic windows.
