This week Bonnie Hunter took pity on us, sort of. When I started reading the instructions, I gasped out load when I read that we had to make 272 half square triangles. The good news is that we aren’t making any blocks with these HSTs until next week.

LOVE the colours…curious…what are all those tiny shreds of fabric on the left and what are they used for…they are so skinny….
Once you sew together the pieces you have to trim them to make sure they measure exactly 2-1/2 inches square. It is a time consuming and sometimes annoying task. Quilters either love or hate doing it. I don’t like doing it but there is some satisfaction when you are finished and there is that colour coordinated pile of trimmings
